LIMITED LIFETIME WARRANTY
All Formed For sculptures are covered by this Limited Lifetime Warranty, which protects the original Buyer against defects in materials and workmanship under normal intended use. For the purposes of this Warranty, “lifetime” is defined according to the material and finish of the sculpture as follows:
Bronze and Stainless Steel Sculptures: Each sculpture is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of twenty-five (25) years from the date of purchase. The patina finish applied to each Bronze sculpture is warranted to be free of defects in materials and workmanship at the time of delivery. However, as patina is a naturally reactive finish, it is not warranted against aging, oxidation, or color change over time.
Corten Steel, Painted Steel, Stone, and Marble Sculptures: Each sculpture is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase.
Sculpture Bases: Each base is warranted to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ten (10) years from the date of purchase.
Buyer is defined as the individual or legal entity that directly purchases the sculpture from Formed For or from an officially authorized reseller, as evidenced by an original invoice or sales receipt. This Warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original Buyer. It does not transfer with resale, gifting, or other subsequent transfers of ownership.
EXCLUSIONS FROM WARRANTY
Buyer acknowledges and agrees that metal and stone finishes may contain minor, natural defects inherent in the raw material, as well as variations in color and texture. These may not match samples or renderings shown to the Buyer at the time of consultation. All sculptures are handmade, and small imperfections in the finish may occur as a natural, inherent characteristic of the fabrication process. Natural aging processes may affect the appearance and color of unpainted or non-powder-coated metals, including—but not limited to—natural patinas on bronze. Buyer agrees that these variations and imperfections shall not be considered defects under this Warranty.
Due to the artisanal nature of our fabrication process and the inherent properties of the materials used, certain minor imperfections in the surface finish are considered acceptable and are not covered under this Warranty. These acceptable characteristics may include, but are not limited to:Mirror-Polished Stainless Steel: micro-pitting, fine hairlines, or minor distortions in reflectivity resulting from polishing, welding, or fabrication processes.
Painted Stainless Steel: small surface variations, pinholes, or embedded particles from the painting or curing process.
Bronze with Patina: natural variation in color, texture, and tonal depth due to hand-applied chemicals and flame finishing techniques.
Corten Steel: uneven surface textures, patina drip marks, or color variations from natural oxidation.
Stone and Marble: veining, fissures, inclusions, or slight shifts in color inherent to natural stone.
Formed For employs high-quality materials, including 316L stainless steel, and industry-standard finishing techniques to ensure premium craftsmanship. However, perfection at a microscopic level is not realistic for large-scale sculptures. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, any surface variation not visible from a viewing distance of at least three (3) feet under normal lighting conditions shall not be considered a defect. Formed For reserves the right to determine whether an issue constitutes a repairable flaw or an inherent characteristic of the material.
Where appropriate, a maintenance schedule will be provided. Where one is supplied, any damage to or degradation of the sculpture which, in Formed For’s reasonable opinion, results from untimely or poor maintenance shall not be covered by this Warranty.
This Warranty does not cover:
Damage due to negligence, vandalism, improper or unreasonable use, or environmental exposure beyond what is typical for the sculpture’s design.
Sculptures that have been altered, relocated, removed from their original mounting or setting, or repaired by any party other than Formed For.
Cosmetic damage, or damage resulting from accident, misuse, abuse, weather phenomena, or unauthorized modifications to the sculpture or its base.
Sculptures installed or placed in harsh environments, including but not limited to areas with extreme weather, salt air, pollutants, or corrosive materials, unless explicitly warranted in writing by Formed For.
Damage caused by third-party treatments, adhesives, coatings, or mounting methods applied after delivery.
Because the patina finish applied to bronze sculptures is generally considered in the industry to be a “living finish,” it will naturally oxidize and change color over time due to human touch, climate, and other environmental factors. We only warrant the patina finish at the time of delivery to be free of material or workmanship defects.

Such repair or replacement is the sole and exclusive remedy for breach of this Warranty. In all cases, Formed For will work in good faith with the Buyer to address warranty concerns in a commercially reasonable manner.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Formed For shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, exemplary, or special damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, use, or product—even if Formed For has been advised of the possibility of such damages.
